Always with Bangtan

Namjoon went live today and I am utterly pained. Besides from him explaining and taking us through the making of their album, he led us to his emotions.

This comeback would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the sudden outbreak of events that affects the world. The corona virus also known as COVID-19 badly hit South Korea that resulted for BigHit to cancel BTS’ Seoul Concert on April. This also resulted to restricting fans in music shows which means BTS has to perform on a stage without ARMYs. Hearing their first live stage was absolutely devastating. Their performance was so perfect, but I can’t hear any fan chants. It’s saddening that it has to be that way when they have prepared for it so much.

Cancellations over cancellations, I started to feel bad and needed Namjoon to go live to reassure that things will soon be okay. Days passed by with only assumptions in hand and high hopes on another, still none. Today, we get a vlive from Namjoon himself but I am deeply sad and devastated, not about it but because of the virus. ☹ He told us his emotions over it and I couldn’t be more hurt. We are sad, angry, frustrated and even if we know the truth that the boys felt the same, none would have known how it is a hundred times harder for Namjoon being a part of almost all the songs. The anticipation all of us have went downhill as the chances of seeing the boys grew slimmer as the number of COVID victims went up. It’s frustrating because we don’t have control over it despite our safety measures. It’s frustrating because all we can do now is wait.

Every time they perform, I can see the longing and we are just as equal. But at the end of the rain is always a rainbow and the end of the rainbow is our color – borahae. Great things come to those who wait as they say, we have waited 10 months and we can wait a bit more for everyone’s safety. We need to stay safe and healthy to be able to meet each other at the end.

And I suddenly came to think what separates BTS from others is that, with them there is no formula and success is happiness. Each member is irreplaceable, there's no substitute. The seven of them are a perfect match. And their path happened to cross the paths of millions waiting for something that'll change their lives. The bond we have is immeasurable.

Every time I see this map lit up, I tell my self – these are how many people wanted to be happy, people who dreams, is depressed but fighting, who’s tired of the unjust society, who failed but tried again and these amount of people are inspired by BTS. I always imagine how great this world could be if all those lights came together and make the world a better place but before that, those lights needed voice, they needed attention. And with that, those lights stumble upon seven men who’s willing to be their voice. I remember Namjoon saying “use us”. Sometimes, my delulu self is thinking, maybe the world needed us to come together, especially now – we are the strongest force out there.

They are a beacon of hope and change and we are the forces surrounding those. I also remember Namjoon said that we are destined to be here. We are the stars that makes up the constellation – sweet and perfect.

To Namjoon, thank you for putting your faith in BTS seven years ago. And here we are, seven years after with seven men bleeding and living with us. We are each other constants. Know that we are here for you guys – today, tomorrow and to more seven years. If the lights will dim, we’ll lit up another one. If the stage looks uninviting, we’ll make our own. If our options A to Z runs out, we’ll make some more. Like one of the things you love, TEAM – we are a team. Gone are the days we catch the bullets because now, we dodge them. We are always with you – you guys are the heroes and we are your sidekicks!

We love you, Namjoon. Thank you!
