When the winter ends

Jc Isidro

My eyes turned red remembering what you told

While I gasped for some winter air in the cold

I remember how you try to get out of the mold

But they keep fitting you right in like you were sold

I remember how you love every winter day

For you don’t have to hide all the coldness away

And you’ll smile warmly in frozen sunshine ray

As it melts the snow slowly like a perfect holiday

The winter felts the sadness that you kept

Through its bareness your worries are swept

When the winter ends you have still have me

You don’t have to keep everything, so the world won’t see

I’ll be with you through seasons until its winter once more

So, you can take a rest and took off the mask that you wore

When the winter ends, we’ll count to three

You’ll open your eyes and live happily
